Who pays? Often the care or health insurance.

With a recognised care level, AmiVio bills your long-term care insurance directly as a provider recognised under § 45a SGB XI (AnFöVO NRW). During pregnancy or after a hospital stay the statutory health insurance may cover the costs; there we support you with the application. The clarification is free in a first phone call. The care insurance covers our services from your budgets, we bill directly, you pay nothing in advance. We will gladly tell you our prices on request. AmiVio serves the Aachen city region (StädteRegion Aachen) and the districts of Düren, Heinsberg and Euskirchen. AmiVio is not a nursing service: no personal hygiene care, no medication, no wound care.

Budget check

With your authorisation we check your budgets with the care insurance fund and tell you how many hours are possible.

Contract

We agree scope, start and your regular helper. You sign the framework contract comfortably at home.

Support

After each visit you sign the service record. Never in advance and never on a blank form.

Billing

We bill the insurance fund directly. We only invoice you for what the fund does not cover.

Good to know

Who is household help and everyday care for?
Seniors, people with limitations, family caregivers, pregnant women and anyone who needs support in daily life. With a recognised care level (Pflegegrad), the long-term care insurance pays; during pregnancy or after a hospital stay, the statutory health insurance may cover the costs (§ 24h and § 38 SGB V, German social law). AmiVio advises on the right options.
What does it cost me?
With a care level, usually nothing. The long-term care insurance covers our services from your budgets, we bill directly, you pay nothing in advance. AmiVio is a recognised everyday-support provider under § 45a SGB XI (AnFöVO NRW) and bills the relief amount (§ 45b SGB XI), the conversion entitlement (§ 45a para. 4 SGB XI) and respite care (§ 39 SGB XI) directly with your care insurance fund. For health insurance benefits (§ 38 SGB V, § 24h SGB V), your insurer decides on coverage and settlement case by case; there we support you with the application. Without a care level we are happy to help as a private service. We will gladly tell you our prices on request.
Which services does AmiVio offer?
Household and cleaning, shopping, accompaniment to doctor and authority appointments, cooking and laundry, companionship and care and respite care when the family carer is unavailable. With your authorisation, we check your budgets with the long-term care insurer and handle billing. AmiVio is not a nursing service: no personal hygiene care, no administering of medication, no wound care. We complement nursing services.
Does AmiVio help during pregnancy?
Yes. For pregnancy and childbirth, § 24h SGB V provides for household help from the health insurance; with a child under 12 in the household, § 38 SGB V may apply as well. Your insurer decides case by case, and we support you with the application.
Will the same person always come?
Whenever possible, yes. You get a regular helper, and appointments are agreed with you by phone. The scope depends on your needs and your budget.
