Household help in Aachen and the city region

Household help in the Aachen city region and the district of Düren: a clean, orderly home without it costing you energy. Qualified helpers reliably take on cleaning, laundry and order.

What household help covers

Household help starts where relief is needed, regularly or as a one-off big clean. You decide the scope and frequency.

  • Cleaning: vacuuming, mopping, dusting, bathroom and kitchen
  • Laundry: washing, hanging, ironing, folding, changing beds
  • Order: tidying, rubbish and recycling, dishes
  • On request: window cleaning, fridge, seasonal deep clean

AmiVio works throughout the Aachen city region, from Aachen via Würselen and Eschweiler to Stolberg, as well as in the district of Düren. Wherever possible, the same familiar person comes to your home.

Does the insurer pay for household help?
With a care level: AmiVio is a recognised everyday-support provider under § 45a SGB XI (AnFöVO NRW) and bills your long-term care insurance directly, the relief amount of €131 per month from care level 1 (§ 45b SGB XI), plus from care level 2 the conversion entitlement of up to 40% of the care benefit in kind (§ 45a para. 4 SGB XI) and respite care (§ 39 SGB XI). Is AmiVio a nursing service?
No. AmiVio is not a nursing service and does not provide home nursing care under § 37 SGB V. We handle household help, care and everyday support, complementing the work of nursing services. Both can be used in parallel and billed separately.
How quickly can it start?
Usually within 2 to 5 working days after the free initial consultation. For urgent needs after hospital discharge or a high-risk pregnancy, a start within 24 hours is also possible, provided the health insurance agrees in parallel.
Is it always the same person?
Yes. Wherever possible a fixed, familiar person comes who knows your wishes and your home. In case of illness or holiday, you are informed in good time and a substitute is arranged, without frequent staff changes.
Is there a minimum number of hours?
No. One to two hours per week, several days or a one-off big clean are all possible. Billing is transparent, based on hours actually worked with a clear record of services.
